About Us
CARPENTERS BY TRADE,
SHUTTER SPECIALISTS BY CHOICE
Our Story
WHY CARPENTRY MATTERS
London Shutter Specialists is a family-run business built on a simple observation: beautiful shutters are ruined by rushed fitting. Most companies subcontract installation to whoever is available. We believe the person fitting your shutters should understand timber as deeply as the person who made them.
That's why every installation we carry out is done by an experienced carpenter. Sash windows that have settled over a century, bays that bow, reveals that taper — our fitters read them all and make the shutters belong. For the same price you'd pay elsewhere, you get expert installation as standard.

What We Stand For
THE CARPENTER'S STANDARD
CARPENTERS FIRST
We started as carpenters, not salespeople. Every fitter on our team is time-served — it's why our finish is different.
MILLIMETRE PERFECT
London's period windows are rarely square. We scribe and fit every panel to the window it belongs to.
RESPECT FOR YOUR HOME
Dust sheets down, tidy work, and we treat every home like our own — from Fulham flats to Hampstead townhouses.
HONEST ADVICE
Free consultations with straightforward recommendations. If a more cost effective option suits your room better, we'll say so.
Where We Work
SERVING ALL OF LONDON
From our base in South West London we install shutters across every London borough and the surrounding areas. Wherever you are, the person who arrives will be a carpenter.
